Wembley tickets

This whole charade is disgraceful. Don't agree with the club letting season ticket holders having 4 tickets. Should have been 2 Max. There are many loyal fans all around the country. I have loved this club for 53 years and still go to many away games with my 89 year old Dad, who was watching them pre-Roots hall days. People who don't live close and are genuine fans are being punished for not living in Essex. I can bet that many for those 4 tickets per season ticket holders are going to people who want a day out at Wembley and not bothered whether we win or not. I love this club and always will but this is leaving a very bitter taste in my mouth indeed. I don't believe the club has handled the situation very well. This would have probably have been my Dads last ever Southend game. Also I have got the car park at Wembley booked. Are the club going to reimburse everyone who can't go. I don't think so. I am not sure I want them to win now as its looking like we won't be there. I do not want to hear where everyone will be sitting. Its just winding everyone up, please stop.
Not sure you want us to win - really?
When did the stiff upper lip disappear and we became so extreme?
I still believe that everyone who wants one will get a ticket and we will look back at this thread and laugh at some of the more extreme comments.

I think again this is where loyalty points should come into play, for home and away games, I get people can't afford STs at the time of sale and probably attend alot of games over the season, so they should take priority over people who are going just for a day out. As in loyalty tickets should go on sale before general sale. But, how many home games have we sold out this season?? 1 or 2 off the top of my head, and we have an allocation of 17500, that's double roots halls capacity so should be plenty of tickets, and we will probably get more if the club source more coaches. The only other thing I don't really agree with is 4 per ST, and that is me as a season ticket holder. Probably should of been max of 2, I also didn't take my full allocation.

Does anyone think that it is just a coincidence that Mark Ives CEO of the National League resigned with immediate effect for family and personal reasons on 16 April?

As far as I can see the Playoff dates were confirmed on 20 February and TFL publish engineering work closures at least 6 months in advance. Yesterday, they published planned works week by week up to the end of November. So this lot of work would have been known at end of last November.

The whole timetable has been a farce. The last games should have been played on Saturday 3rd May, the eliminators by 6th May and semis by 13 May, and the final at a ground other than Wembley.

Clearly because of the engineering works, the NL has been allocated the duff date of 1June as every other game has been given priority - is this why the FA Cup final was played last weekend before the end of the season?

Anyway who is running the NL at the moment? Their silence on this debacle is deafening. Not one announcement from them as far as I can see. Just let the clubs take all the flack.
Oldham’s ticket system crashed just after 12.00.
In addition, one of their Directors , Darren Royle is on the NL Board. Guess what, apparently he’s gone AWOL!

Stop Discussing about where you are sitting. You have got a ticket. Just to let you know that thousands of us will be sitting on the sofa watching. Shut it.
That's a tad uncalled for. Quite frankly, I find the situation appalling, and there should be no restrictions. I was certainly not seeking to rub anyone's face in it. I can see that this is galling for you but don't take it out on fellow supporters, take it up with whomsoever caused this **** show in the first place.

I will shut up now, though, to keep you happy.

After everything each and every supporter of this club has been through and now this…

It is totally insane that many regular fans will not get into Wembley. 90,000 capacity and no infrastructure or mitigation plan to ensure genuine supporters can watch their team.

I am totally done in by the prospect of not seeing the game live. The thought of having to resort to DAZN leaves me cold.

Is there any hope of sanity being restored by messrs. TfL, The NL or S. Khan?

C’mon Tom and Justin! Work your magic !!

Please don't shut up as I always enjoy your posts. I'm sure you'll get an apology once the 'abuser' gets tickets. You have done nothing wrong.

Why should they? You chose to book a parking space before you secured a ticket. I didn't buy my parking until I knew that I had secured tickets.
I booked my train down from Scotland and hotel accommodation in London before there was any indication that tickets would be restricted, yes my choice but train tickets either sold out or limited and accommodation in London at a sensible price also limited when I booked.
Your inference is that people like me and many others are at fault, with respect it's not us that are responsible for this total **** show........

We get it mate. You got a ticket and don’t care that others have to travel from across the country and put travel arrangements in place.

Please stop blaming season ticket holders for being season ticket holders.

Stop saying you deserve a ticket more than the next person.

It’s a near impossible position for the club to handle, they have handled it as best as they could so far.
