Think it could be a little further afield than that. But loads of rumours going around. Let's see if the club announce anything further.TBC on July 12 surely GWR as usual?
Only 6 pre-season games slated.
That’s the same as the disastrously undercooked 2020-21 pre-season (admittedly that was after a much longer off-season when they hadn’t played for 6 months) and last year (when I also thought they looked short) and 2 fewer than 2022/23 when we faced Kings Langley, Canvey, Kettering, Colchester, Gilligham, Ipswich, Palace and Concord; or 21/22 when we faced Great Wakering, W*** H**, Harlow, Dartford, Brentford, Ebbsfleet, Norwich and an intra-squad game.
Also no mention of a pre-season tour.

In fairness, a preseason trip abroad is for the team to prepare for the season and team bonding. Of course, it's a lovely bonus if some fans can attend, but it's never designed with fans in mind. Not giving much time for people to sort out travel/accommodation etc if it's on the 12th July.
Sure a few fans would be up for it given enough notice.
Maybe that's the whole point if they'd rather it was a behind closed doors trip?
Bit of good practice on their plastic pitch too.Assume the slough one is a little kick for them off the back for us signing Leon. We had the same deal Kings Langley for signing Wood and with Weymouth when we signed Goodship but due to Covid the following year the Weymouth one never got arranged. Apparently Ron promised them some money but it was not forthcoming and as the agreement wasn't contractually stipulated it left Weymouth a bit short from the deal.
Lutons a new one for a pre-season friendly. Could it herald the return of Pepple...
A return to Ireland? There will be at least one friendly on our pre-season tour.
Exactly a pre-season tour is all about the team and the management might prefer the behind closed doors approach. A shame for some fans I know.In fairness, a preseason trip abroad is for the team to prepare for the season and team bond. Luton are also playing Boreham Wood (if my memory correct pre season) - so more likely they've just adjusted the standard of pre season opponents given their relegation. But we can dream!Assume the slough one is a little kick for them off the back for us signing Leon.
