Breaking News Season Tickets - now on sale

Yeah I’m holding off for no real reason at the mo. Will 100% renew but just like to hold onto my money as long as I can. Skinflint alert.
Same boat. They have set themselves a deadline at which point renewals will cease. I'll leave it until the day before.

Not sure they would ever do it like this but they couldn't adaopt a renewal window with "unpredictability". Announce that early bird pricing is available but could be pulled at any moment based on demand. This plays on the fear of missing out (FOMO) and pressures fans to act quickly (like myself that is only waiting because I can and I'm proper penny pincher) However, they’d need to balance this carefully to avoid frustrating supporters. Not even Ron used these marketing tactics.

No to surge pricing!

They just aren’t in a rush for cash so no need. What a position to be in. We’re such a fickle lot fans, they’ve done so much for us. A deadline isn’t a goal but I see it as one as I do in my everyday life. If you didn’t give me a deadline I wouldn’t do anything.

Worked for a company that gave out stress balls with their logo on and on the reverse was the phrase "If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would get done"

Probably because it was a small financial startup (compared to the pension life companies) everyone seemed to embrace this and got stuck in working until the very last minute. Was this way of working that made the company pretty successful. Too successful though as it was then bought by one of the life companies and had the fun sucked out of it and the corporate put in.

However I digress. Season tickets will probably lag behind where they were last year only because last year was such a quick turnourand from them going on sale until the start of the season. This time they have gone out a month earlier.

It’s not the transfer thread, we’re allow to digress here. Seen the same happen a lot when a business gets larger and the fun times end. Can see why people get dragged into startup culture as there’s no fear, still hard work but it doesn’t feel it when you’re trying to break an industry. I think it’s a field I need to get into just not sure how to do it. Getting a bit long in the tooth to be a young upstart. Got to do it myself instead!

On topic, I think season ticket numbers will go up this year quite easily. Someone posted something from a rival forum fairly recently that you can see we are on an upward trajectory, you can feel it. We as fans can too we just feel like we don’t deserve it or it will be pulled from under our feet again, but it shouldn’t this time to the same extent. Real fans know we are on the up, and couldn’t care less how long it takes. I just want to be on the ride we’re going on.

Ah, well I can't replicate that as I've already brought my card. I've tried with a different seat, but it won't let me. Anyone else having problems with the payment side?
Today received a phone call from Sarah from the ticket office who is working away from the ticket office due to continuing issues and was able to renew my ST via her. What fantastic service from the club who must be so frustrated with the ongoing tech issues.
So anyone that has experienced issues in being unable to renew then contact Sarah at the usual email address
