Hold the design - Cameron is saying if the tories get in he'll bring back terracing (safety permitting).

Ron - please make sure we can rip half the seats out and convert to terracing.

Definitely would be nice to have some terracing behind the goals etc.

Cant see it would need half the stadium mind :)

A third then!!!!

Remember Roots Hall used to be less than 25% seating

Yep, and we had attendances of 3000. Now we have lots more families etc

Terracing would be good, but seats are here to stay.

Id say the first 10 "rows" would be good to have standing, no one wants to sit too low and thats not too many to have issues with safety.

Roots Hall was designed with a maximum capacity of 35,000 and only had 3,000 seats, less than 10%.

I doubt many clubs will build new stadiums with terracing even if they were allowed. RM has stated the gradient of the seats will be the maximum allowed, which would be too steep for a terrace.

Me gusta el pollo mucho. Pero no creo que el tamaño del sombrero importa muchísimo en este caso. Ron Martin no incluirá gradas en el nuevo estadio - que es un hecho porque él me dijo hace unos años.

Is that so Mike, but that was a few years ago...

He may have changed his mind now.

I could be wrong but I remember attendances being much higher than 3k. I'm not advocating completely getting rid of seats - just giving people the choice. First 10 rows all the way round is not a bad idea - similar to how the east stand used to be.

Just make the home end behind one of the goals standing.. Job done..
