the bit i thought was funny is how they brag that they beat us in the championship on both occasions. they seem to forget that before that they hadnt beat us for something like 10 years.
 
My favourite part is the usual Col Ewe selectivity, e.g. 'if you only look at the past couple of years, but stick your fingers in your ears and sing "LALALALALALALALA" when anyone tries to tell you that football was played before then, it's clear to see that Colchester are the more successful club.'

That's the real difference. Do any of us really have a problem saying that things haven't gone our way for a couple of years? Not many, that's for sure. But try getting a Col Ewe fan to acknowledge our superior honours, second tier tenure and head-to-head record. That stuff's real and gives a representative picture of overall pedigree during a clubs entire existence, and they really can't face up to it at all, can they?

What will the poor little lambs do in the near future when they have to face up to a reality of us being better in the past, present and future? Probably claim that Wycombe are their "real" rivals again and that they don't care about us or Ipswich anyway. I guess that life as a Col Ewe fan is only really bearable if you create those kind of alternate realities for yourself. :D
 
usually i fort how big a club is, is based on size and fan base ect. if so col ewe are getting excited about a new ****ting little 10,000 seated, SEATED, stadium. ffs we have more than that already and are planning a 22,000 seater lol enough siad really.
we will be the ones pulling in the armchair fans in a couple of years not them.
