I thought that whole team orders/gentleman's agreement thing was outlawed - don't care what you call it, it amounts to the same. I so hope Hamilton does win, it would be such a kick in the teeth for Ferrari.

Team orders are banned, agreements between drivers apparently aren't although beats me what the actual difference is!

what a stupid thing to say! If he messes it up I'm sure he'll come back stronger. Senna was 28 when he one his first championship, 4 years into his F1 career and he is still seen as the most naturally talented driver ever. Schumacher was 25 when he was first champion and Alonso was the youngest at 24 so I hope that puts into perspective how talented Hamilton is, and how he still has plenty of years ahead. Alonso is a great driver, I just wish you would stop this personal pettiness against Hamilton as you are missing out on enjoying such a natural talent (and he is British!)

Why is it a stupid thing to say, think of all the drivers next season upping their game, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Robert Kubica, Hekki Kovalinen, Felipe Massa, Kimi Raikkonen etc etc..

I am sorry but I think if he fluffs it up this season then that will be it for him..... He has come around at the worst time too many good drivers. I am sorry but I am entitled to have an opinon. I am a Fernando Alonso fan get over it. I don't like Hamilton as a person but as a driver I do admit he is good (although very dangerous).

Why is it that when a new upcoming British Talent drives aggresively to get where he wants on the track it's dangerous, but when the likes of Schumacher, Senna, Mansell and even the bitter & twisted Alonso do it, it is the best piece of manouvering since sliced bread. :madman:

Hamilton could be black, white, Asian, chinese, japenese, german, french, spanish whatever. Race and ethnic minority has nothing to do with it. I just don't like the bloke. He is a good driver I don't doubt that he has talent. But he is not the best I am afraid. Stick Button in his car and I think he would come out of his skin. Stick Hamilton in Button's car and it would be 'Lewis who???'.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinon and obviously alot of people on here like Lewis Hamilton but jesus pull your head from out of his arse. He is good but stick him in Jenson Button's car and still say he is as great as everyone makes out he is.

Also, if Hamilton is so ****e and Kovalienan is almost as good as him, why has Hamilton got almost twice as many points, in what are fundamentaly the same car?

I told you earlier I don't deny his talent, but he is not the best pound for pound driver. Its all good being the best in the wet but what if it doesn't rain at one track all season?

If Hamilton wins the 2009 F1 Championship I will donate £50 to be split between SZ and The Shrimpers Trust.

If Alonso wins the 2009 F1 Championship Einstein will have to donate £50 to be split between SZ and The Shrimpers Trust.

Is another driver wins then both myself and Einstein have to donate £25 to SZ and The Shrimperstrust. One will donate £25 to SZ and the other will donate £25 to The Shrimperstrust.

Only if he agrees to this.
