I've had a leaflet and brochure through the door about the future of Southend Airport and also something called SERT - South Essex Rapid Transport.

It is formed by two bus routes going East and West. Looking at the proposed routes I was interested to see the Eastbound route ro Shoebury runs all the way along Eastern Avenue. Theres more details on the Southend Council website. http://www.southend.gov.uk/resources/sert_leaflet_southend2503.pdf

I think this kind of thing will be key to ferrying supporters to Fossetts Farm on matchdays if we start getting over 10,000 on a regular basis.

Interesting. What about trains, do you know much about trains? How do you get to the game and where do you sit? :stunned:
