just downloaded the accounts for 2013/14 and they make interesting reading.
Aside from the news that losses and debts have increased :'( some really interesting bits (to me as an accountant anyway)

Gate receipts (incl season tickets) = £1.225 M down from £1.551 previous year. This is despite an increase in average attendance of 18% from 5034 to 5959 ?????????????

This means that the average take per person per match is less than £10

Also really surprised to see that we have 78 people employed for playing, training and coaching !!!
35 people employed for admin and ground maintenance
Both figures seem a hell of a lot to me

Don't forget we had Wembley in 2012/13 season.

First team will have about 30 staff (23 players, 1 manager, 3 first team coaches, physio, fitness coaches, performance analyst). The academy will have a fair amount of coaches too covering age groups from pre-academy to under 18s, most would be part-time staff. If we want to get Academy Category 2 status, then this could increase with more full-time employees.

Thats the problem with looking at the accounts, you are seeing a very shallow level of information.

Dont worry about it, we are 'minted' apparently.
