Question 247.tv

What pees me off is the ruddy graphics and "music" before the game and at half time. Just show the middle of the pitch so we can see the match buildup and what is happening at the game.

Does anybody know how much the club made from last season's streaming? Am I right in saying that profits from match streaming go to the viewer's club and not the club that produces it? Doesn't seem right to me and surely must be wrong.

It's pretty close to that, of a subscription fee 15% goes towards running the service, 17.5% goes into a pot that's split between all the NL clubs (this equates to about 6p a stream, so not much), 7.5% goes into a pot that's split between all the NLN/NLS clubs (about 1p a stream) and then the other 60% goes to whichever club the person watching supports.

It's a very unfair system, I'm not surprised the smaller teams often run such a bad service because there's virtually no money in it for them even on days where they're hosting a big club.

Making graphics and switching back and forth is more work.
So, like you, it makes me think there is some restriction on EXACTLY what's allowed and what's not.
That said, can't fathom what it might be.

Have said before this is money for old rope.
As long as you have feeds in place, that's £7/£9 for a minimum outlay.
I'll guess at least 500 Shrimpers tuned in on Saturday, so £3,500 for tapping in to what's already in place.
Why didn't I think of that, lol?
