Not wishing to tempt fate, and of course hoping for a clean sheet at full time, but just read Bentley needs to keep a clean sheet until 67 mins to beat Mervs record - should he reach that surely deserves a chant?

... Great stuff!

* Awaits Newport goal in the first 5 minutes *

I thought MC kept a home clean sheet for 985 minutes. Although it is possible that only another 67 minutes is needed if the last team to score did so in the 72nd minute.

Bury scored in the 71st minute, the last home goal Bentley has conceded.

I'm surprised they can calculate it to exactly 67 minutes.

Though, I guess they don't allow for time added on in any game as it is made up time from earlier.

Bolger own goal in the 65th minute followed by on field fighting and Brown signing a contract at Portsmouth.

In other news i do believe my pint is half empty

Newport hit the post in the 67th minute.

Now that would have been tough luck!

Although it came from a bad misjudged punch from Bentley, would have been ironic if a mistake by him would have cost him the record in that way
