So its 89 mins gone & we're 1 goal clear on Northampton T in the home leg. The question is do we storm the playing field en masse to force the ref to blow up early, sealing our promotion glory.
Seems that Grimsby & Swansea have got away with it (so far..). Even if we did get a fine surely the financial implications of promotion would outweigh any penalty?

Obviously this is a purely hypothetical situation & this post does not in any way condone thuggery at football games, besides you'd probably get a ban..

If it was wrong for Grimsby and Swansea, then sadly it has to be wrong for us. Anyway, I wouldn't want to give the Cobblers fans any grounds for crying cheat.

If it's good enough for Grimsby and Swansea it's good enough for me.

Good isn't the mot just really. I would hate to see us dragged down to their level. Not least because you can bet your last penny that wheras it appears that they have got away with it, we surely would not!

But it wasn't good (enough) was it! It was a disgrace. I cannot believe that some people on this board would advocate such double-standards.

Totally with SiaK on this.

Absolute crap! They got away with it; you can bet we won't ... and then we can blame idiots like yourself ...
