Of course i will, must admit fast losing faith in the management team at the moment. Playmaker Gower gone, best midfielder Bailey going and Mildenhall may be tall but so was Collis, can't be better shot stopping so time will tell. Will still be at Scunthorpe on a Tuesday night, Flavs or no Flavs but just hope he gets what he deserves with a forward thinking management team rather than our unambitious lot!

tbf Wiggy, we werent good enough to go up this year and maybe Tilly has just decided that he needed to get rid of all the dead wood and really build a team that will compete at the top end of the league from day 1. Lets be honest, all the players that have gone so far with the exception of Gower are average players at this level and I think Tilson has probably just decided that he is going to take a few risks for the first time and just go for it. I say good on him!

It always needs a settled side and perhaps those players coming to the end of their contracts had other things on their minds --- like not being offered extentions/new ones. I think they knew Doncaster were a very good passing and footballing side and realised they would have a match and may not of been mentally prepared enough. Who would ever really know ?
We obviously need a lot of new players and it is now up to the bosses to sort out decent signings and as it is 1st July , let the monies flow Ron.

Sorry, Flavs, Clarke, Bailey and Gower are not dead wood and are the basis for a very good League 1 team. Yes Harrold, Macdonald, Revell woops still here etc should have been outed a year ago but this is all looking like a cheap winding down operation to me!

Thats why is said "ALL THE PLAYERS THAT HAVE GONE" AND " APART FROM GOWER". Also, Flavs is a good goalkeeper in imo BUT i think we could do better as I feel that his lack of organisation at set pieces and commanding has cost us a number of goals. Clarkey wont go imo. Bailey is a good player but was s**t poor in the play offs when we really needed him and obviously doesnt want to be here so see ya later. Revell imo will be a better player this season once he has had a full pre season behind him and is 100% fit.

Has anyone thought that the wages we offer are not going to attract extremely good players. Whenever I have spoken to SUFC staff at varying levels it seems to be one thing they all comment on.
I am not saying pay fortunes and bankrupt the club but other clubs that you would think couldn't possibly afford it seem to manage. FFS even Col Ewe managed to pay the dynamic Teddy about £6k a week last year. (Yes , I know he wasn't brill but the principle still applies)

Im going to sound like Gordon Brown here but I think Ron Martin feels that "prudence" is the key becuase once you put one player on 6k, they will all want 6k and it damages morale. I wouldnt be surprised if that was one of the reasons why our good friends in Colchester were relegated last season (apart from having a s***e team!)
