Breaking News Adam Federici

Both very good players who gave there all when here on loan. Federici impressed me greatly with his displays in goal. I loved his kicking style and the way he was always looking to get us on the counter attack as soon as he had the ball in his hands. I also remember a cracking goal by Hal Robson -Kanu. Good luck to them both.
With Gower there already, Feds and Hal promoted tonight. Then with Barnard and Harding looking odds on to get there with Southampton, We could have five of Tilly's old boys in the top Div next season. Also I would think Kightly will be snaped up in the close season, by someone like Norwich, Stoke or Villa, to make it six !! :Worthy:
Then there is Hooper (who never did a lot here for me) knocking them in for fun at Celtic. He could easily be there to next season too.

Tilly made some ok signing eh?!

He is in the Aussies squad for their next match (friendly against Denmark?) Scwartzer of Fulham wants to keep the job for the next WC but this bloke must surely be the no 1 pick.

Yes and no . Hooper and Kightly excelled after being released ! Gower was signed by Wignall.

Pleased for all these ex shrimpers though - especially Gower, he was superb for us, I always thought something could happen when he got the ball - a very underrated player by many I believe !

Strictly speaking Hooper was sold not released.

As far as Kightly goes you've sort of answered yourself as to why he was released, Mark Gower. Like for like at the time Kightly was nowhere near Gower as a player. It's to his immense credit that he went away and made himself into a better player and one that isn't out of place in the Premier League.
