A few weeks ago the idea was raised about asking Alison to come and perform a few songs (including Blue) on the pitch before the final game of the season - but its all gone a bit quiet since then....

We even spoke to her on her official site - but has there been any progress?

Yep, as instigator of the post (stops for applause) I was wondering same.

Singing Blue at half time accompanied by the Blue Belles (nice outfits today) when 3-0 up v Yeovil and the Championship just 45 mins away.......its getting closer:)

But if you noticed she is meant to be on tour in Ireland that day, so I doubt her record label would let her do such a thing. So I guess the only time we will get to see her in Southend is at the Cliffs when her tour stops there.
