Jay Smith has to be included...

Also, as far as Centre Backs go, Barrett isn't exactly the tallest and Hammell is actually quite small.

Ben Abbey up front. Nicky Nic (or indeed Chris Powell?) at left back, Adam Barrett at centre back, Mark Beard at right back...

Matt

Sorry lads cant accept Barrett he aint really small is he...Sure there are smaller ones out there......Hammell is small but not as small as Nicky Nic.

Dave Cunningham (mid) who played in the 70's was pretty small IIRC.

As a GK Phil Pritchard who we had on loan from Stoke about 20 years ago, was far shorter than Darryl. He wasn't too bad a 'keeper TBH.

You could make a case for Alex Burns up front.

Micky Bodley wasn't the tallest centre-half in history, and neither was Paul Clark.

Mark Hall

known as four foot F**k hall.

The Shortest person I have seen between the sticks for the Blues was Peter Taylor . I don't recall Eric Steele being particularly tall

Micky Stead ?

He was tall sideways I think.

Steve Phillips (already called), Billy Best wasn't the tallest either. Owen Simpson had no neck so that reduced his 5' 4" considerably, think he may have been shorter than Nicky Nic.

Can't recall Stuart Brace being land of the giants material either.

According to Wikipedia, Mark McNally was only 5'9". I doubt we've had too many shorter centre-halves than that.
