I need to come back to this but

A is for Aldershot - beating them 10-1 (and the season before beating them 5-0 home and away).
B is for Benji - who put the ball in the Bury net
C is for Corr’s Comeback goal v Exeter
D is for Donkeys - Drewe and Dublin
E is for Eight Men, all we needed to score at Swansea in a famous 3-1 win
F is for Freddy a goal after 7.7 seconds, a hattrick on debut and the start of a legend culminating in those goals at Swansea and that goal v Man U
G is for Gazza and Lineker, overshadowed by our Gary Bennett
H is for Hamsters, put in their place by Brettie Angell
I is for Italy and our adventures against Fiorentina, Padiva, Pescara and all, including hammer attacks, brawls and a penalty shootout defeat at Notts County
J is for Judas and defeating him 3-1 on his return to Roots Hall
K is for Kits - custard splats, silver LDV specials, yellow away kits, the Trust curing Polio special and of course the blue of home
L is for League One Champions and Lincoln and the back-to-back promotions.
M is for Man U, vanquished at Roots Hall
N is for New Years Day, 1992 and Newcastle. 4-0 and top of the table
O is for One - the number of teams in Essex, as proven when even Che Wilson scored
P is for Penalties - the 7 in a row missed but also the Penalty shoot-out win at Wembley after Pigott scored
Q
R is for Roots Hall, home.
S is for Stanley, the greatest player I’ve seen in a Southend shirt
T is for Tilly, a legend as both player and manager
U
V is for Viking, the legend that is Paul Clark.
W is for Why don’t you Wiggle it just a little bit and our gaffer, one of the finest players to have graced the Southend shirt.
X is for Steve Bennett who is a XXXX. He not only sent off Leo Roget for looking like Jereon Boere, but in an Essex derby he later sent off Maher for nothing and Gower for pointing out he was a XXXX.
Y is for Yeovil come back and that incredible second half performance
Z is for Zoltan Liptak and his Essex Senior Cup exploits
