Still remember seeing Elton John in the East Stand during those epic battles with Watford, and some of their fans on the old South Bank, back in the late 70's.

Watched the documentary Bo66y last week about Bobby Moore and he was one of the talking heads on that, apparently Elton John did the same thing with Bobby Moore, talking to him about his plans for the club and hoe he wanted Bobby to take them to Europe, Tina Moore said Bobby was devastated when it fell through. Graham Taylor backed it up and said that Elton wanted Moore but the other board members weren't keen and so the job went to him instead.

And seeing him at Watford, Taylor was very much Elton's manager - kind of a football version of Bernie Taupin. RIP Graham Taylor.
