After the Weekend's events, I of course ordered my copy of the Echo to be sent to me in the post. I have to have it sent to me being in Bedford. I added it to my collection of old editions as I keep them all and I started rooting through some of them. A lot of memorable moments in there. Some good and some bad ! Also had a few of The Southend Times in there. Do they still run ?

Anyone else keep or collect old Echo Paper's ?

I kept the ones from promotions and memorable games, Man Utd, Chelsea etc..

All in the loft somewhere

I buy it most days. Cut out the articles and make a scrapbook out of them at the end of each season.

Sad at my age I know but so what, lol...

Nothing wrong with this at all. My spare room at my House resembles a child's room with all the Foam fingers, flags, posters etc !! I love merchandise :)

I keep all the match daywrite ups and have them going back about 15 years. I keep telling myself to stop but keep going on as its all blues history. Although one of my three sons is a keen shrimper, he's not a collecter like me so i'll probably offer them up on here one day and if theres no takers or no grandchild to pass them on to, just bin them, really sad thought.

If that sad moment were to occur then surely the best home for them would be The Fish House in East Street on a match day. Just think of it, chips served in SUFC newspaper, food first, half time reading second, sorted.

I dont suppose anyone has a copy of the echo from the Wrexham LDV Vans Trophy game do they???? I was the kid holding up the piece of paper with blue hair on the back page. Lost my copy years ago!! Would be great if anyone had it!

From about 1986 to 2005 i used to religiously cut out any match reports from the local and national papers and neatly fold them in the relevent programme. Got a roomfull of programmes from every home match since the war up to 2011....and most away games. Haven't bothered the last couple of seasons due to lack of space!

I have a scrapbook containing every 'In the courts' section.

There are some right ****ing villains out there.
