Not for the first time, I am asking you who are these benefactors calling themselves the consortium really are and why will they not come forward to reveal their plans to secure the future of the club.
If they are as serious as you seem to claim,unless they step forward quicksmart they may not have a club to save.

I agree, it's well and good making the noises, or working via a shadowy front man. But let's see the "consortium" put their cards on the table. I understand they can't make definite financial commitments until they see the books and/or reach agreement with Ron Martin to sell. However they all have names so they should all step out of the shadows, presuming of course they exist.

Is "may be" an option open to Ron ?

True, the Consortium is still out there, however they have not upped their bid or even evidenced that tey have sufficient financial support to do anything other than take Ron over.
Do you not think that if there was someone out there who had the money to buy the club , manage a sufficient cash injection and maintain the subsidy / additional finance required to sustain the increased overheads playing at a highr level would involve and ,above all,had the inclination to take the club over, that they would have surfaced by now, and would imagine that one way of forcing Rons hand , were he to turn down any offers, would be to let the fans know about the future plans for the club .
However we have had silence.....

seriously though i do know a little about it as my dad owns his own legal company so i do see a little about it and done a bit of work for here now and again.

I certainly echo these sentiments; but also we need to ensure that any investors - be they the consortium or anyone else - demonstrate that they have the werewithal and the business plan to carry the club forward.
