Apologies for doing a single post for this but don't want it to get lost by the amount of posts!

I'm currently travelling and will be in Sydney, Australia for the date of the final and weighing up flying home or not.

The game will be on at midnight, Sydney time.

Are there any Shrimpers fans / Bars that will be showing it?

I'm seriously considering flying home to see it live but to save me the costs and time of doing it, (plus leaving my girlfriend out in Oz and the inevitable argument!) I wanted to explore the options!

Of course, that's the simple option but it don't quite compare when you're normally watching on your own, trying not to scream the house down at 3am! Plus, when you live abroad it's nice to come home occasionally on your own terms, not just for funerals, weddings and the occasional holiday

Good effort! My flights (flight) just got 50% cheaper - Mrs just said if I go, make it a 1 way ticket!

Yes this was always the option but I don't think it's the same experience and would have been great to have a few jars with a fellow shrimper(s) for an atmosphere! Looks like I'll need to fly home and return to continue our travels as soon as possible!

DAZN for me, though I would give my right knacker to be there live! But cost and time make it near impossible to seriously consider. Even though I’m in Newman, I’m willing to travel 1,200ks, if there’s any shrimpers in Perth who might be able to meet up and watch it?

After yesterday's announcement with the tickets its made me reconsider as I'm concerned about booking return flights and not even getting to the game - i wouldn't want to watch it at Roots Hall so a zoom would be the next best thing!

That is massively impressive, where is the flight from? If long distance I would SERIOUSLY consider getting an Aisle seat and set some good time to walk around on both flights. I know several business travellers who even in business class have done this and then suffered deep vein thrombosis. One of them was young (I worked with that one). My long haul return this time is only 4 days, shortest trip back ever.

Flying back from Brisbane for a week (arrive Wednesday, leave the following Wednesday).

Wasn’t going to push it as we are also booked to come back for a long family holiday at the end of the year but in the end my wife put together a list of flight options and said “I know how much this means to you”.

So I’m a lucky boy…she’s a keeper (just don’t put her in nets at Wembley )
