Ayrshire Blue’s ones to watch
Mark Yeates - Former Spurs youngster Yeates now in his second spell with the club, The tricky winger has made over 100 appearances for The U’s scoring 24 goals. Was a constant thorn in Southend side earlier in the season and will be looking to cause The Blues more problems this weekend.
Johnnie Jackson - Signed for The U’s in the summer of 2006, has become known for scoring some fantastic goals, including Colchesters first goal in the game in November.
Steven Gillespie - Has had injury problems this season and i’m not 100% sure if he is fit for this one but if he plays he will be a threat in front of goal, Southend were rumoured to be interested in signing the former Cheltenham striker in the summer after his 14 goals last season helped Cheltenham stay in League one.
