Question Bands or solo artists you would like to see?

I've always wanted to see Mike and The Mechanics live again but when they rocked up to the Cliffs recently Mike Rutherford was the only member of the group with any longevity so I passed on that. Would love to see the Stones live again.
I saw the Nolans back in the late 90s and there was only one of the original line up left!

I’d like to see Paul McCartney & Ringo perform together before the inevitable.

However I’ve seen & read articles/clips etc that Paul’s voice has more or less packed in which has put me off a little.

Not that I’ve got any room to talk with a voice like a crow gargling razor blades..

You will in the charts by Saturday in that case.

My love for Foo Fighters has blown up over this summer. Ever since Glastonbury, I can't stop listening to Everlong. My band have also started playing Learn To Fly at gigs. What a band.

Saw Happy Mondays and James at the South Facing festival, Crystal Palace. James are still an amazing Iive band.

Totally agree, when i finally saw the Zombies earlier in the year his voice was excellent!
Unlikely story but true.
Colin is something of a friend; chatted to him at his Woking home just recently.
We nearly had The Zombies to play our 2005 wedding in Alexandra Palace, but at the time they had a tw** of a manager who played hardball.
Colin was embarrassed, but we've remained friends.
He told me they're busier now than when he was 19, lol!

I would love to go and see Bruno Mars - just really like all his music and I live in hope

Top of my list is Fugazi. Although they've been on 'indefinite hiatus' since 2003 I live in hope they'll make 1 more record and tour it. One of those bands I could have seen countless times in the '90s and kept saying 'next time'. They're all still out there doing it with other projects, and they've said that they still occasionally play together privately, they just need to get their **** in order and do it.

I'm ticking off one band I've wanted to see for years tomorrow night which is Doves (albeit without Jimi Goodwin, though I totally get why he's not touring).
I'd quite like to see Paul Weller, even though I'm not a massive fan of all his solo stuff, I was a big fan of The Jam but was a bit too young to see them live, though I am going to try and see From The Jam before Bruce Foxton retires this year. I really should have seen Dave Gilmour, Crowded House and Keane last year too, but at least there's a good chance Keane will tour again.

I was too young for The Jam too but I saw Weller play an instore at HMV on Oxford Street the day Wild Wood came out. I think that was the best time to see him solo.

The Jam were a good live band. I saw them three times - once in '77 and twice in '82. One of the latter gigs was at The Cliffs.
My flatmate produced the one solo Bruce Foxton album.
Bruce was a regular visitor to our gaff, and when we threw a party in the 80s, one of the guests pointed across the room: "That bloke, he dun half look like him out of The Jam!"
