the Changeling (cricko)

versus

The Hills Have Eyes (steveo)

Two interesting choices- one more psychological than the other, but both excellent films. The remake of THHE is excellent.

I suspect Cricko will have to do some serious tapping up to get this one through!

Hmm ... i've never heard of Crickos choice, so i think i'll have to try to find some clips or else it'll be THHE for me

The Changeling is apparently out in cinemas in just under 3 months time.

Unless he is referring to either Leyton Orient fans wanting their manager changed or some obscure 1980 film that no-one has heard of.

Not that obscure

The Changeling won the first ever Genie Award for Best Canadian Film. It also won the following Genie Awards:

Best Foreign Actor — George C. Scott[2]
Best Foreign Actress — Trish Van Devere[2]
Best Adapted Screenplay — William Gray and Diana Maddox[2]
Best Art Design — Trevor Williams[2]
Best Cinematography — John Coquillon[2]
Best Sound — Joe Grimaldi, Austin Grimaldi, Doni Pigat, Karl Scherer[2]
Best Sound Editing — Patrick Drummond, Dennis Drummond, Robert Grieve[2]

This film was #54 on Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie Moments.

I'd also describe the Genie Awards as obscure.
