How are everyone doing at the moment?

My team lost the toss and they elected to bat and at the end of the 7th over they are 18/1.

We won and are fielding but I seem to have selected a worthless bowler to lead the attack and he's gone for 34 runs from 4 overs. Oh well, that's that game over then!

Not going too well, already lost my openers.

My top batsman (on paper) has gone for another terrible low score. This time he hit 24.

Juast had a disastrous over,

10.6 1 Richardson to Hulbert
gentle push into the covers and a quick single taken
10.5 . Richardson to Hulbert
straight bat, bit of lift, beaten and Greenwood doing the fielding
10.4 2 Richardson to Hulbert
wide of off, guided to the left of 3rd man, good running between the stumps
10.4 wd Richardson to Hulbert
dreadful ball down the legside, keeper makes a great stop, but the umpire rightly signals a wide.
10.3 b1 Richardson to Howson
plays and misses, and Greenwood just fails to get his hands on it. The ball trickles off for one bye.
10.2 4 Richardson to Howson
straight back past Richardson and thumps into the sightscreen, four!
10.1 4 Richardson to Howson
worked around to fine leg, misfield and the boundary as result

Thank god for that, worthless bowler off, competent bowler on. luckily my strong bowler has only conceded 14 runs in 6 overs on a batsmens pitch.

They're 56-0 off 12, I'll take that at the moment.

Currently 46-2 after 12 overs, not bad bowling, apart from that over, i'm very surprised.

And just spent £112,000 on a new bowler,

Tony Chaplow (81289)
LH Batsman, LM Bowler, respectable form, Healthy
A attacking player with woeful leadership skills and worthless experience.

Fielding: competent

lost toss and made to field, they are currently 61-0 after 13 overs. My bowling line up is terrible so i have put this weeks YP as an opening bowler and he seems to be getting slated lol.

With my best bowlers still to come, hopefully i can keep them down to about 220 and my strong batting line up can finish them off.

Yep, i will fail anyway so i might as well enjoy failing.

$%&*ty youth bowler now off, and in the last 2 overs i have got a maiden and a wicket. At last things are looking up

Pearlstars XI (Barmy Army) and Southend (Museshrimper)

Southend won the toss and decided to field,

End of Over 19: 105-2, runrate=5,53

I've got my crap bowlers in now, fully expect to be hit about.

End of Over 21: 74-5, runrate=3,52

And at the end of 3 over with my crap bowlers have lost 19 runs.

End of Over 23: 86-5, runrate=3,74

I thought i was doing badly but i've looked into things a little. At the top it says:

"We can tell you that THe Four Horsemen won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking like a road. As flat as a pancake. No help for the bowlers today."

So that has cheered me up, slightly.

They are 140-3 off 22 overs.

My opening bowlers Tomlinson and Akram (who are normally very good (proficient) were going at 7 an over) but Tomlinson got 2 in 2 balls to save himself.
