Battrick

A couple of weeks back i asked for a bowler and got ...

Andy Mitchell - 18 yo, BT Rating=2 883
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, respectable form, Healthy
A destructive player with strong leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: respectable Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: worthless Consistency: woeful
Fielding: abysmal

A batter.

The other 2 i've had have sucked big time.

Im in Level 9 so im going to be ages.

I am? Nice. Still aint got mine yet. I saw that you have Muse.

Dagnabbit, looks like I'll have to get up 5 minutes earlier and check before footy tomorrow.

I'd start worrying about your pitch if i was you.

Game is over all ready after you win by one measly wicket.

Completely missed the commentary so cant skim through to pick up on things either, which is the uses of friendlies. Damn and blast it.

Currently playing Birri, he won the toos and went in to bat and we bowled him out for 218 in 46.5 overs, mainly because of the 42nd over,

42.6 W Faulds to Winn
Plays defensively, but the ball moves off the pitch and takes off stump out of the ground.
42.5 W Faulds to Clitheroe
advanced, picked up straight to Pearce at mid on for an easy catch
42.4 . Faulds to Clitheroe
Good shortish ball angling in to the body, cramps him up as he plays it into the pad from an inside edge, drops away inside on the off side
42.3 . Faulds to Clitheroe
forward, solid stroke straight to mid wicket
42.2 W Faulds to Baxter
advanced, went for the max and picked up straight to wide long on for an easy catch
42.1 W Faulds to Tunnicliffe
He's turned like the Titanic to come back for the second, and was left well short of his ground.

End of Over 21: 128-0, runrate=6,10, reqrunrate=3,14 (218-10)

Winn 4-0-21-0
Pearce* 72 (57 balls)
Mulholland 50 (72 balls)

Getting trounched by Bob_C

Deservedly, having made most players play very aggressively and bowlers bowl very aggressively.

First fall of wicket,
33.5 W Findlay to Mulholland
picked up to deep sq region, Winn taking a brilliant catch as he throws his arms forward, well done

End of Over 34: 177-1

Yeh. Very bad start. But Watt, who got 39 off 37, was set to be "attacking" and was the only player to score any real runs.

The pitch is playing a huge part. I chased 305 on a dead wicket on Friday and then get skittled for 102.

Oh, and im $%&*ing burnt to pieces!

Fair enough, maybe you're not as bad as I thought.

If you can watch, Dan's match vs.Museshrimpers, it'll go right to the wire.
End of Over 33:Museshripmers score, 190-1, runrate=5,76, reqrunrate=5,59 (284-3 Dan's score)

And my batsman just made a century,

39.3 4 Findlay to Pearce
Makes room outside off stump and smears it over the infield for four runs.
And that's a century for Pearce! Well played indeed Sir!

Pearce* 100 (112 balls)

Five more runs needed to win.

And won, by 9 wickets.

Still havent had my finance update either, I think they should give us all good pulls as compensation

Yeah my game's a close one

I went for the cracked pitch to take advantage of the fact my bowlers are a lot better than my batsmen. Star man Safiullah didn't disappoint with 3-20, all top order players and my token fifth bowler even chipped in with 2 wickets in 4 balls to finish the innings!

Safiullah then carried the team home with a patient 21 off 42 balls, what a guy!
