Wont be Colchesters doing if his loan does end 31st. They cant just say "oh keep him another few days" outside of the official paperwork etc.

If does end 31st, maybe we can ask for an emergency 7 day loan and sure Col U would be ok.

Exactly. If they didn’t extend and took away potentially the only chance in his career to play ( and win) at Wembley in front of 50,000 fans he is going to be devastated.
That would have to affect him in a negative way which is not going to help Colchester

If we go up rather than Oldham then col u will get a home gate with 2000 extra home fans and a surplus of home fans, say 1000. That’s about £50k. And maybe more the year after. It’s within their financial interests that we do.

Yes Matt Gray was manager at Sutton when they got promoted, he has just joined Eastbourne so it figures that Jason will join him, their owner has been splashing the cash for a while now!
