According to Massimo Cellino( Leeds owner), a deal has been done. He scouted him the other week. Told a fan outside Elland Road today.

Bit of a strange move for him if true. He seems to be very well settled here, living in his hometown with all of his family, girlfriend etc. around him so didn't think he'd be too keen on moving that far oop north. Knew he would go eventually but thought he'd try and stay more local.

Although I suppose if Leeds can offer him a very decent pay packet, football at one level below the Premiership and a first team spot then it's a good move.

But still... :'(

Only post from this user, and the source is just an anonymous fan claiming he spoke to the owner. Until I see something more concrete I'm assuming this isn't true.

Bentley's immediate future involves extra kicking practice when it's raining.

You are probably right...but Bentley must be sold this summer, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't he entering the last year of his contract

If we go up I reckon we'll persuade him to sign another year or two with the understanding if a prem club come in with a seriously big offer we let him go. Better for him to be first choice with us a league up and see where it goes from there than gamble now and chance ending up on a bench for 3 seasons.
