After having a re-listen to "Guns n Roses, Use Your Illusion 1" I noticed the excellent thunder roll on November Rain on my new speakers at work... so...

Guns n Roses - November Rain - Thunder

The Doors - Riders on the Storm - Heavy rain

Ok, I'm sooooo bored I'm even ignoring the voices in my head...

I'd argue this.. The S Club 8 song (bloody hell, they stopped being Juniors SOOOO long ago, keep up girl) is a cross between Daft Punk and Abba, and is therefore genuis.. the DJ Sammy song is indeed sh*te though...

What about Count Duckula that song had a load of weather effects in it, didn't it? Awesome song!

Can't rem. the title. Something about walking in the rain. But the bloke who sung it was Orange Juice Jones.....I think. All a bit vague. Just like my life really. Anyway there was a rain sound...I Think.

I think it was Rain by East 17 in the 90's - the sound of thunderstorms at the beginning was a good effect.......

Jeeze i'm so sad to remember that band......

Can you explain that please? If he's a pr*ck, I want to be one as well, cos he's a bloody successful one.

I cannot understand how nobody has mentioned It's Raining Men by The Weather Girls... excellent sound of a storm at the sound of the track.

For the sound of a summer meadow, try Lovin' You by Minnie Riperton.

For the sound of a swamp, try In The Days of the Caveman by the Crash Test Dummies.
