OK, we've had a few players who have gone off and returned and played for a club or 2 in the interim - I've made a stab at an xi. Alternatives welcome!

1. Mervyn Cawston
2. John White
3. Paul Roberts
4. Paul Clark
5. Andy Edwards
6. Spencer Prior
7. Lee Sawyer
8. Alan McCormack
9. Freddy Eastwood
10. Roy McDonough
11. Mike Beesley

Manager: David Webb

More of a 5-3-2

a) Does Darryl count...he sort of left and came back
b) There must be someone better than Lee Sawyer in midfield

Robson-Kanu just renewed his loan so I wouldnt include him. Nogan's a good shout - 7 years between appearances.

Capleton less so. He didn't actually play a senior game in his first spell for the club.

How does Capelton not fit your criteria (other than, arguably, best)?

Robson-Kanu's loans were in different seasons!

Capleton never played in his first spell which rather makes it academic
R-K, yes, end of one, beginning of another. No playing for anyone else in the interim. So it was more like one long loan.

:winking:
