SOUTHEND United striker Nile Ranger will be hoping to beat Charlton Athletic and the London traffic this weekend.

Start him, get 60 mins from him, take him off, let him bugger off home, in time to see his hatrick replayed on Sky sports goal rush at 6pm
First I've heard about said curfew......not ideal.
It's been mentioned loads of times. It was mentioned when he was released from prison.....This from the echo and the Southend united site......A statement published on southendunited.co.uk read: “Nile Ranger was this morning (Friday) released from Pentonville Prison after serving a little over 10 weeks.

“Nile was eligible for early release under the HDC (Home Detention Curfew) Scheme, due to the short duration of his sentence and his consistently excellent custodial behaviour. Nile may regard himself as fortunate but will remain under an evening home curfew for the next five to six weeks.

I assume he was home in time.

To be honest, being as it's travelling to and from work, it would be quite a simple process to get a bit of leeway in circumstances such as yesterday. Shrewsbury might be a bit more difficult.

It's a shame he has to concentrate on aiming to beat his curfew when all our strikers need to be as diligent when aiming for the net.

Surely Ron could buy a house in Shrewsbury for Nile for next week?

Then a home in Fleetwood for 23nd Sept.

Then a home in Doncaster for 7th Oct.....

There was a pic of him in the Sunday Paper, getting into his BMW after the game, en route home. Also one of him on pitch, with his 'tag' showing under his sock.
