BT - FC Week 6

Even Sandy is getting in on the act.

End of Over 63 (5 runs). ShrimperZone CC: 183-2, runrate=2.90 (1st Inn: 118-10)
Trail by 124 runs. (Chums 425-5 dec)
Croft 15-4-25-0

Sandile 51 (126 balls)

Last Wicket: Julian c. Mccammon b. Rogers 8 (FOW: 53/2)

62.6 2 Croft to Sandile
Good work by Murdoch in the deep to save the second run is ruined by poor backing up. Croft looks furious!
And that's his fifty! Well played.

they're batting somewhat better than in their first innings.

End of Over 24 (11 runs). Smashing Sixes: 82-2, runrate=3.42 (1st Inn: 78-10)
Trail by 293 runs. (Pettefershire CCC 453-6 dec)
Harmison 4-1-17-2
Bhutia* 5 (11 balls)
Archer 46 (86 balls)
Last Wicket: Tumisang b. Harmison 0 (FOW: 65/2)

Finding myself supporting the opposition's batsmen at the moment!

We got them all out 110, fine. But then we got skittled for 141, my best batsmen failing in both innings. Wanted to bat for an extra 30 overs at least. They're 49-4, and we're almost certainly going to win and lose 90k tomorrow.

As requested

End of Over 40 (7 runs). ESM boys: 168-4, runrate=4.20 (1st Inn: 179-10)
Trail by 32 runs. (Benjishire CC 379-10)
Short 2-0-13-0
Shirley* 10 (10 balls)
Greenacre 34 (54 balls)

Last Wicket: Toney c. Dodd b. Dawood 34 (FOW: 142/4)

Just in time to be rested for a while then!

:finger:

He's still going :omygod:

He was still at Sublime before today, but at best I would imagine he's going to be at Invigorated by the end of the match. I think she needs him to play on Friday as well, so there's a fair chance he won't play against you.

End of Over 140 (3 runs). DIBS DIPPERS: 891-3, runrate=6.36
Lead by 767 runs. (Old Norfolkians 124-10)
Schooney 28-1-149-0
Stride* 446 (357 balls)
Shaw 30 (39 balls)

Last Wicket: Judd lbw b. Themba 74 (FOW: 817/3)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm struggling to take wickets 2nd time around

End of Over 24 (Maiden). Balsys Wanderers: 81-1, runrate=3.38 (1st Inn: 97-10)
Trail by 310 runs. (BATTY SHRIMPERS 488-10)
Lister 3-1-9-0
Gordon* 40 (71 balls)

Shirley* 10 (10 balls)
Greenacre 34 (54 balls)

Last Wicket: Toney c. Dodd b. Dawood 34 (FOW: 142/4)

Thanks - i need to stop enforcing the follow on

Thats a bit of bad luck eh BB!! I was going to lay down and let the lass win but i may re-consider and give her a walloping instead ;)

Well things are looking up in my FC game today. After a pretty poor day yesterday getting the opposition all out for 225 I then had a disastrous start to my batting finishing the day on 94-7. It didn't take them long to finish me off this morning and my boys were all out for 102. The opposition were back in and seemingly cruising at 151-3 when they declared (probably quite confident after my first innings). Currently I'm doing quite well chasing the game having lost only 3 wickets. Now only trailing by 69 runs and if I can do it, I may well win a game I really didn't deserve.

End of Over 44 (4 runs). Crabbys Catchers: 205-3, runrate=4.66 (1st Inn: 102-10)
Trail by 69 runs. (Chinatown CC 225-10 & 151-3 dec)
Cudworth 13-2-47-1
Elvis* 12 (10 balls)
Wilkinson 25 (21 balls)

I'm sure I can act as a go-between in any negotiations.....

And that's the end of the match. GNH Jibbajabbers won by an innings and 284 runs.

End of Over 48 (Maiden). Destroyers: 107-10, runrate=2.23 (1st Inn: 109-10)
Trail by 284 runs. (GNH Jibbajabbers 500-1 dec)
Ur-rehman 6-2-9-4
Viljoen* 0 (4 balls)

47.6 W Ur-rehman to Matharu
Oh, that's a poor shot! Not really short enough to pull, but Matharu has gone for it anyway and under-edged it onto his stumps!

End of Over 32 (Maiden). Fort Wayne Wanderers: 59-7, runrate=1.84 (1st Inn: 110-10)
Trail by 208 runs. (Southend 236-10 & 141-10)
Deakin 4-3-2-1
Wills* 0 (6 balls)
Weaver 0 (7 balls)
Last Wicket: Nobel c. Thay b. Deakin 8 (FOW: 59/7)

I hate my batsmen.

61 all out. PFL save will be nice, but loss in earnings not so. Cronin takes 5fer, so I hope his experience will pop. All geared up ready for another GFI on Friday. My OD league rivals haven't cottoned on that I've GFI'd every game this season - they're perplexed by my spin ratings. They clearly think I PAN constantly due to the consistent ratings.

My declaration seems to have worked nicely, as none of my first teamers needed a bat second innings and unless I take 9 wickets in the next half hour I'll be getting 3 days' gate receipts along with maximum points.

Happy with that, took 4 wickets meaning just 6 to take tomorrow. Should wrap it up in an hour or so and not tire anyone out. All but two of my first XI are sublime fitness already.

5 to take here

End of Over 45 (Maiden). Balsys Wanderers: 147-5, runrate=3.27 (1st Inn: 97-10)
Trail by 244 runs. (BATTY SHRIMPERS 488-10)
Johnstone 6-2-9-1
Gordon* 58 (115 balls)
Mcnally 0 (5 balls)

Last Wicket: Borrowdale lbw b. Johnstone 6 (FOW: 147/5)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think Mrs BB can afford to declare now :)

End of Over 160 (5 runs). DIBS DIPPERS: 1017-4, runrate=6.36
Lead by 893 runs. (Old Norfolkians 124-10)
Skipper 38-0-218-0
Owens* 34 (30 balls)
Shaw 85 (98 balls)

Last Wicket: Stride b. Themba 479 (FOW: 961/4)

Kev for your info, Stride is only at Energetic tonight, so I would guess he'll be lining up against you next Tuesday.
