The report claims it costs at least £9,000 to stage the re-arranged match, so it's not a bad move to let everyone in for free.

If the attendance is boosted by around 3,000 as a result, then it only needs them to spend an average of £3.00 each on food/drinks/matchday prgramme/shop (etc) to re-coup that money and they get a better atmosphere for the match.

Also, who knows it could lead to more people returning for the remaining fixture/play-off semi.

... either that or they've got no idea what to do with voucher/non-vouchers (etc) and it's become such a dog's breakfast that it's easier just to say "f**k it, let 'em all in for free!"

That has more than a whiff of truth about it! :raspberry:

I can't believe it's free for anyone. What about the voucher holders if 10,000 plus turn up and try to get in. The ground only holds around 11K.....................They still need to sort their atrocious pitch. It was the problem although the officials failed miserably. Shame not enough " Football Revenue" filters down to L2 level to help ensure this does'nt happen.

I can't say I agree with much of the above except I can agree with the comment about revenue flowing down the pyramid. Anyone with a Sly subscription can help by cancelling theirs as, to my mind, it is this type of revenue stream that allows The Primadona League to think "we need them" rather than there being an overall system that benefits all.
