Cabinet reshuffle

And no way will Labour win an absolute majority. Especially if the boundary changes happen.

That won't happen now either, as the Lib Dems will block it. Who will win? Well if the Tories have any gumption they'll sack Dangerous Dave and put Boris in charge or I see Coalition No.2: The Lib/Lab years.

That's if anyone bothers voting of course.

Right you are(about boundary changes anyway).
The rest is going to be "interesting".Rather like the Chinese curse perhaps-"May you live in interesting times."

I think you might have to get used to having him around longer than you think(whether you personally vote for him or not). There's an old axiom in politics that opposition parties don't win elections,Governments lose them. That's what will happen in 2015.No way the Tories will win an absolute majority after failing to deliver on growth.

Goldfish memories, those who do vote in labour. A complete mismanagement of the country gave the Tories an impossible challenge. They sort of backed down on the cuts when they should have stuck to them. Labour had us borrowing money we had no chance of repaying. Joke. A return for labour would just confirm that the uk is comprised of idiots.

Completely sold us down the river financially. Anyone who thinks any government could correct labours gross misconduct is dreaming. Handing them the reins again would be suicide.

Maybe they panicked, but the whole world did and things changed when the banks fell down. The Toffee nosed Tories would of done exactly the same as Labour did as nobody had any sense at that time. Now if you are going to constantly put all the blame on Labour why are the Tories so ****ed up now borrowing more than ever and have no idea whatsoever how to get out of this mess. They are so out of touch with the average person in this country it is untrue, but then again I guess so are most millionaires.

I am not saying the current Labour party is the answer either, the days of having a "Real" statesman/woman are long gone and we all suffer because of it.

You really shouldn't make crass, ignorant and downright stupid remarks comparing Miliband and Hitler.
FYI, Miliband's mother is a holocaust survivor(she's Polish)and his father(a noted Marxist writer who also happened to be Jewish)fled the Nazis to settle in Britain in 1940.

I see you've looked up milliband on Wikipedia.

I couldn't really give a toss about what his parents went through. I think you'll find that most families have been through similar times of grief and trouble through their years. It doesn't change the fact that the guy is a downright fool and totally incapable of running the country.

As for my hitler comment, I think most would have seen it was made tongue in cheek. Had I of said the devil, would you of reacted in the same way?

FYI,
I saw Ralph Miliband lecture when I was a politics student in Birmingham in the 1970's.I'm also a long timer admirer of his Parliamentary Socialism(the best ever study of the Labour Party)and his writing in the New Left Review and elsewhere.
As for uour comment comparing Hitler with Miliband that is most certainly not tongue in cheek,it's just crass. As an atheist, frankly I have no time for fairy stories about the devil.
I certainly believe that evil exists however. And I would imagine that your lack of compassion for holocaust survivors must make it easier for you to hold your unprincipled and basically ignorant right wing views.

So why did you feel it necessary to make an issue of the hitler comment at 11:50pm and not 5:35pm when you wrote the original reply if all of the information has been available to you since 1970?

At first I thought it was better to just ignore it.Then I changed my mind.
I've been thinking about the holocaust a lot recently after a visit to Krakow and Berlin this summer.Seeing Auschwitz and Schindler's factory/museum in Crakow along with the Holocaust Museum in Berlin made a deep impression on me.Simples really.

You might want to change your mind about Supablue24 comparing Milliband with Hitler. He said he would rather vote for him. Thats not comparingnow is it so bang goes your moral high ground, again.

I'd rather vote for Vince Cable than Boy George or Chillax Dave. That is comparing them I think.:winking:
(They however are all sitting in the same Cabinet, which makes for a reaonable basis of comparison, unlike comparing Miliband with Hitler, which is just fatuous).

I'd have thought you would rather have voted for Chairman Mao, Stalin, Lenin or some other left wing butcher, Pol Pot perhaps.

More Cyril Smith than Citizen Smith eh? Does singing 'Keep the Mustard Yellow Flag Flying' have quite the same ring?

In Spanish local and European elections I usually vote for the left wing coalition between Izquierda Unida(ex-Communists)and the Greens.Hardly Liberals.I have to admit, I also sometimes vote for the PSOE(Spanish Socialist Party).
