Capello's squad for Montenegro match

Scott Parker in the next England Squad please.

My guess is that his outspoken nature means he'd probably not fit in with the squad, unfortunately. Personally I agree with a lot of what Parker (and Barton) have to say, but coming out publicly probably isn't the best way to get yourself into the team!

Plus, he plays for Wet Sham, and we all know what happened when we let those scumbags have a crack at it over the Summer...

BTW Did we finish with 5 Man City players (Hart, Lescott, Barry, SWP, Johnson) on the pitch? When was the last time we had 5 players from the same team playing for England at the same time?
In addition to Napster's point, in the previous game against Switzerland there was 6 Man City players on the pitch at the end as Milner was playing as well.

Switzerland: Benaglio, Grichting, Ziegler, Lichtsteiner (sent off 65), von Bergen, Margairaz (Shaqiri, 45 ) , Degen (Streller, 64 ) , Schwegler (Costanzo, 83 ) , Inler, Frei, Derdiyok
Subs not used: Affolter,Padalino,Fernandes,Wolfli,

England: Hart, Cole, Lescott, Jagielka, Johnson, Milner, Barry, Gerrard, Walcott ( Johnson, 13 ) , Rooney ( Wright-Phillips, 79 ) , Defoe ( Bent, 70 )
Subs not used: Cahill, Carrick, Gibbs, Foster

So what you're saying is that Naps was well out with his 1930s answer and you only had to go back a game or two.

Does this represent a monumental power switch in the English game or are English players now an irrelevance?
