Chants

I want to get away from yesterday's game (reminded me of a 0-0 draw against Exeter years ago when the highlight was our only shot which Dave Elliott blasted high up into the South Bank terraces). So I'm asking for your help. I have been a Blue since the first game in Div 4 in August 1966 (won 2-1 Vs Bradford City. Beanland and Firmani the scorers). I was a regular until work moved me away in the 1980's. I now get to around half a dozen home games a season (dodged a bullet yesterday) and bring my grandsons aged 17 and 19 up from deepest Sussex. They normally like to go South Upper unless it's one of their birthdays when they may get treated to the Blues Legends Lounge. We've booked tickets for the last game of the season, home to Rochdale, and they want to go in the West Stand with what they call 'The Ultras' (you know who you are!). This brings me onto the question of chants. My chanting expertise goes back to "Oh, Billy, Billy. Billy, Billy, Billy, Billy, Billy Best" and "We've got Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry Johnson, on the wing, on the wing", and "Nan na nar-nar, nan na nar-nar, Hey-ey Bill Garner", etc as well as some less salubrious chants about Dixon of Dock Green in the big blue hat (remember that one....?). Whilst we can hear the current chants from South Upper, they can't always make out the words and they want to join in when we play Rochdale. They are both mildly autistic but come so alive at Roots Hall. Can you help? Answers on a post card, or below if that's easier.

The supporters have got to be given The North Bank back , then you will hear the chants that are chanted in the West Stand now , will sound 10x plus from The North Bank .
That's where I learned my chants!
