Official Match Thread Charlton Athletic vs Southend United

Such a shame for the red card, which has ruined the game. It looked justified, especially as Dru had got the referees attention for fouls on more than one occasion. Rather naive on his part but I suppose that's what you risk when you play youngsters. Great goal by Humphrys but sadly, with ten men, it may not prove enough. Think I'd settle for a point now! The more worrying thing IIUC, is that we've lost Dru for three games .........just what we don't need at the moment

Humphrys on loan from Fulham according to Jeff Stelling! :Takethat:

Maybe it’s the boot up the backside Dru needs.

I'm a bit late to the party. So it sounds like Dru deserved it, and we can't blame our favourite pantomime villain ref? Shame, I hate that bloke.

I see it slightly different. Dru should've been used more sparingly for some time now in my opinion and it hasn't happened. The timing isn't great, you're right. But he needs time out of the fold.

You are right, but I feel SCP hands have been forced at times.. I am sure he would of liked to rest him at times but has had no choice with a threadbare squad, but to play him.

Well I thought it looked a bit harsh, looked like he slipped a bit to me. I certainly wouldn't criticise him too much.

Yellow card for Cullen after a foul on Kightly.
