To be fair it was a 28,500 crowd that day and we were only getting crowds around the 4,500 mark.
Even the other 'big' clubs in Div 1 that season Sunderland, Derby, Leicester and even West Ham were only getting 15,000 crowds.

You may be right but they don't half lay it on with a trowel.

what's the consensus on the best pre-match watering hole?

Derby Tup on the Sheffield Road is close to the ground, friendly and has a good selection of ales (cheap!)

Ditto with that. Newcastle away would be brilliant!

We all know that, if we did get through, we'll probably end up with Burnley, Doncaster or Huddersfield, away! :'(
