The people of SZ have spoken!

City Shrimpers is back Tuesday 29th April at our spiritual home of the Ship in Talbot Court, close to Fenchurch St and Liverpool St

For those who have yet to attend we'll bring a Southend scarf to hang up, but basically look for a group of people spanning the generations standing outside putting the world and SUFC to rights over some fine ales as we toast the memory of some friends no longer with us and hope for success in the play-offs.

Look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

I'll be there 6-ish.

For those worried about the tube strike that provides the perfect excuse to be home late. The pub is close to Fenchurch St and Liverpool St and for Docklands workers not far from Bank/Tower Gateway (and not that far from London Bridge if you're South of the river).

Look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

Due to my very kind boss and his insistence that I work from home today rather then face the tube strike , I will not be able to make it tonight.
Enjoythe night and really hope to make the next one where we can talk about life in League 1 :winking:

Cheers, I'm sure we will enjoy.

Hope to see as many of the non-slackers who haven't used the strikes as an excuse to stay in bed all day there as possible to toast our place in the play-ofs.

There's still time to head in! I refuse to give into them.

Anyone wanting to head over early go for it we already have at least one there.
