SOUTHEND United’s Sean Clohessy is trying to claim his side’s goal in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Morecambe.

The defender kicked the ball into his own net, it wasnt a deflection.

He has no hope of getting that goal.

It looked like it was hitting the target though, thought that was how it is worked out?
 
Although the shot was on target, the defender played the ball (rather than it being a deflection) and therefore I think should remain an oggy.
