I always struggle to buy work shirts. I have a 17.5" neck and most off the peg shirts in this size are ****ing rent a tents.

Anyone else?

I struggle with jumpers and polo shirts. I'm not particularly fat but I'm really tall in my back and so things come up short unless I get a massive size and then they look baggy.

Get yourself over here MC. High street bespoke, tailored and customised shirts at off the shelf prices.

www.tailorstore.co.uk

Possibly the best shopping find ever and I've had about 15 from them over the years. Order the cheapest fabric you can first time round to get the fit right then re-measure if necessary before smashing your wallet. You'll never buy a shirt anywhere else again.

All of my shirts are already in the cheapest fabric I can find. I have to be very careful around smokers.

I struggle to buy shoes. Simply because I never think anything on the shelves look at all decent. That's where the wife comes in. She's brilliant at choosing my shoes!

I used to love the elaborate Italian slip on shoes with a slightly elevated heel that Victoria Shoes used to sell.

Most things, but particularly trousers and jeans. You're not allowed to be fat and tall if you're a woman!

I have the same problem. End up with the top button undone all the time

I had a pair of officer boots in the early 70s and have been trying to get another pair for the last couple of years .
