Where is the pride though? Professional pride, pride for this football club. This bunch of players, some of which won’t get many chances to impress should be busting a bollock to impress tonight and show that they have what it takes. Instead we’ve been absolutely embarrassed by what is a Colchester second string and yet again gone down without a fight. It’s absolutely disgusting. Youth players or not, if they can’t do the basics and put a bit of effort in which you have to say after tonight’s evidence it seems that they can’t, they shouldn’t be playing football at this level.

I’m not disagreeing with you on much of that. However if you really just aren’t good enough and you’re a 17/18 year old kid up against adult pros it can just look that way when in actually fact you’re just miles away from being quick enough mentally and physically to make it even look like you care....

One of the main criticisms of Molesley is that he’s Mr Nice Guy. Well so is Tilson so not sure how he’d improve anything in that respect. And he’s been out of the game for a long time, can’t see him making a difference.

Club has been run into the ground by Ron, no getting away from that. Molesley cannot be exempt from criticism though

Sol Campbell, as bonkers as he was, was getting more out of these lads. We’ve gone backwards and Molesley was able to get players in, Sol wasn’t.

Agree to an extent, but as I’ve said before, Sol also had Milligan, Shaughnessy, Barratt, Hutchinson, Hyam, Kightly, Manton, McLaughlin, Humphrys and Kelman in the squad. We’ve now let all of those players go and haven’t given Molesley a hope in hells chance of replacing them.

Point taken, but they came in far too late. They should be acquired in the summer so that the squad has the pre-season games together and has chance to gel. What we get at this stage is all the signings that nobody else wanted, that probably just wanted a contract somewhere.
