A devastatingly inept performance so far. No drive, no fight, no constructive football. All we are doing is hoofing the ball down the throats of their centre backs. We can’t even cross the ball effectively although even if we did there would be no one there to get on the end of it because our striker is variously on the wing or in any other position from which he won’t get the chance to score. Our club deserves better than this.

Has the narrative changed already? Only yesterday people were going on about how PB's attacking 0-0 performances were proof that this squad is good enough and it was only MM's tactics that were to blame for where we are.

Well the squad is much better when they show some b******s and actually get forward looking to score. Haven't seen that today have we. Today has been tentative and indecisive, somewhat like MM's tactics actually where we lack any intensity or tempo.

The point stands that this squad probably isn't even good enough at their best, so when they're at their worst (like today) then we can kiss the Football League goodbye.

And what's Acquah going to do? He's the most easily marked centre forward we have ever had. He can't win a header against tall centre backs, it's like he doesn't fancy an aerial battle.
