I see they are celebrating 25th Anniversary of FA Trophy win.
Well seeing as to qualify for the competition it required being relegated out of The Football league - I hope beyond hope that we never, ever win the FA Trophy.
Witton Albion?

Witton Albion?

Here's to Col Ewe winning it again sometime soon

Just checked, Whitton were formed 50 years before Col U
Just gained promotion to the Northern equivalent of the Ryman Prem (the Northern Premier league)

Witton Albion have a long history in non-league football including a few FA Cup proper appearances. They even managed to get Sainsburys to build on their old ground and have moved to a new one!

Whitton United however play in the Thurlow Nunn First Division.

So the impossible is possible !

Col Ewe should thank us for the part we played in their FA Trophy win. By beating them at their pig sty our way to promotion in April 1990 we helped them get to the Conference in the first place.

Peter Daley, we'll always remember you Sir.
