Could this man be the next forward

Was reading the non league paper today and noticed a player who would fit everything mr tilson has said and answers all the clues he has given.
He is tall and has lots of experiance is(was) a good target man and played in the championship last season.
We also played against him while he was on loan at Cambridge well if you aint got it yet then the man could be Ewan Roberts.
In the non league paper it says newman would like to keep him permanent at cambridge but has started pre season back at Gillingham.
Just a thought.

Even if for me he is not the ideal man maybee 5 years ago.

Yes he does fit the bill, but i very much doubt it is him. Too old, and didn't exactly look out of place in League 2 last season.

I agree i think also think he is too old but a fit iwan roberts is the sort of player tilly would like to partner freddie.
And as i said just a thought...

For me i dont like all this waiting and as we have a transfer window imposed on us i think we should be signing players to have plenty of cover for the long season ahead.

Lets see what this week brings.
