David Cowley

Thats not Sevilla as in the same team as Kanoute is it?

Also why does it say Cowley's former club is West Ham?

The Scheme only allows former academy players from prem or Championship clubs to apply, I would guess that as Cowley was with the West ham Academy and in our youth team (we have not got academy status yet) it made sense to put West Ham down on his application as opposed to us

To qualify for the next trial:
Players should be 18 or older and have previously been enrolled as an academy player with a Premiership or Championship club.

From Anya's wiki page

he joined Sevilla Atlético, the reserve side of Sevilla, on a two-year contract.[6] [7]

He does not seem to have been on the books of either a prem or Championship team, so the stipulation I posted earlier must just relate to the new set of trials

It says that but look at these players:

And even Anya's previous was Wycombe Wanderers!

I saw that in the Daily Mail this morning him and another guy. Good luck to the bloke.

Went to watch Newmarket Town vs Wroxham today in the Eastern Counties League Premier Division. David Cowley is now playing for the Jockeys (that’s Newmarket, obviously!) having appeared for Harlow Town, AFC Sudbury, Grays Athletic, Stowmarket Town and Ware over the past decade.

He was the best player on the pitch, playing in a wide-right position and scoring Newmarket’s first goal by winning possession from a defender and calmly beating the goalkeeper, as well as setting up a host of other opportunities.

Despite putting in an impressive display, Newmarket eventually lost 4-2 to the Yachtsmen, who maintained their 100% league record. The Norfolk club listed Jamie Forshaw among their starters; he was one of the players brought to Blues early on after Ricky Duncan’s return to the club and has subsequently played for Ebbsfleet United, Lowestoft Town and Dereham.

I loved a full stop 11 years ago.

If I remember correctly, wasn’t David Cowley fairly small in stature?
