This came to light on this board a few months ago and it was found that this episode was never broadcast but was done as a special for a Party the TV company was throwing. So there dies another urban legend

The smutty names in Captain Pugwash were an urban myth as well.....

I thought the names in Captain Pugwash were an urban myth as well.....
Indeed they are, but the episode on The Sooty show where Sweep and Sue were in the shower together was televised, not sure what Butch and Sooty were doing at the time though.

Indeed they are, but the episode on The Sooty show where Sweep and Sue were in the shower together was televised, not sure what Butch and Sooty were doing at the time though.
It was the Sooty show in name only. Sweep carried the whole program for years.

I was a big fan of one of the sootymobiles which was a black Bedford Rascal with flames painted up the side.
