A lot of chatter about how we need 3 wins out of 3 over the next 3 fixtures but realistically, with this being Southend, I just can't see it happening.

What is the general consensus on how many points we are going to pick up?

I'd like 9 but I know against a lower team at home we will concede a sloppy goal and draw so I reckon in the Plymouth game we will draw 1-1 again. However I may be pursuaded differently if we have certain injuries and loanees back in the team !

Knowing the win yesterday will be a boost - I think this will take the momentum forward.
Had we lost yesterday then I believe the mentality of the team would have been completley different.

The problem we always seem to have is that when we play teams lower than us we always seem to play to their level and hence why I have only gone for 4 points.

All this 'needs to be 9'/'must win all 3' is a load of cobblers. If we did win all 3 I imagine - what with one of the games being our game in hand, and other teams playing against each other - that we'd be either 4th or 5th. That would put us in with a fantastic chance of automatic promotion, and in the very heart of the play-off places.

If we could pick up between 5 and 7, remaining unbeaten, I would fancy our chances of taking a play-off place.

I reckon 6. Think we will get mugged off by one of the three teams. I think its the game in hand against Plymouth that is vital for the 3 points.

9 points would put us back in with a shout of automatics.
