I don't know if any of you listened to the commentary on BBC Essex this afternoon with Brett Angel as the "expert".

I have never laughed so much for a whole 90 minutes. He was truly awful. He kept calling Kevin Maher "Carl" and often made no sense whatsoever. He was clearly out of his depth.

Essex FM, for true entertainment please, please, please give him the job on a permanent basis!

But he put the ball in the West Ham net, and for that alone will always be a Roots Hall legend!

I don't know what Claridge is like on Radio 5 Live but to be fair on "You're On Sky Sports" he's the only pundit to actually speak any sense IMHO.

Brett Angell was hilarious. What with Carl Maher and Chesterfield.

Nick Alliker said that we were playing C********r a few times too to be fair.

A few slip-ups aside I didn't think that Angell was too bad. It was very difficult to take him serious though with his rather camp northern accent. He'll always be a legend though.
