Dumfermline have just made 8 first team players and 3 youth team players redundant after going into administration and struggling to pay bills!

The fight goes on on saturday we fielded 8 under 20's and the oldest player in the whole team was 23.Dunfermline Athletic FC (The PARS ) are at their most critical time in their 128 year history . The manager is on reduced pay if he ever gets paid as no one at the club has been paid since end of February and the club has no money. + The fans are raising funds by all means possible but we need help from the wider football family . The Pars supporters trust is part of the united pars working with the administrator and we would appeal to you if you feel you could donate to our cause to keep the Pars alive we would be very grateful.

Donations can be made to the Pars Supporters Trust

Into The Valley

Dunfermline Athletic F.C. are the latest in a long line of football clubs suffering from years of financial mismanagement at the hands of the blazerati, who have been masquerading as upstanding custodians of our proud 128-year-old football club.
Our club is now in administration and Pars fans are pulling together to raise enough funds to get us through the remaining weeks of the season.
One of our initiatives is a fundraising evening at East End Park this Saturday, where we will have a number of ex-players and managers appearing. We are also running an auction and raffle and we are appealing to the wider football community to lend us a hand.
You can do this by purchasing a raffle ticket for £5. Payment can be made via Paypal to: matthew_lafferty@hotmail.com.

Wow, there's some really special prizes in that list! looking at the sheer number of prizes, wouldn't they be better off running two raffles rather than blowing all their assets in one draw?

Id certainly be up for a copy of Gordon and Sarah Browns' books!

Despite laying off all these players, they have had some good results since...
