Eintracht Frankfurt On Tour

Despite what the title says, these are Eintracht Frankfurt fans at Brondby in Denmark for a UEFA Cup match earlier this season. An awesome sight (and I have seen it in person a few years ago) but I hope our new stadium is built a little bit stronger that the Brøndby Stadion; wait until about 35 secs into the clip and note the concerns (too right!) of the stewarding staff!

Eintracht Frankfurt 1

Away fans having fun? Well, the second clip is from the first leg of the tie at the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt; anyone concerned about all-seater stadiums killing off the atmosphere (and that includes me) might want to ponder over this clip ~ could you see the Roots Hall stewards dealing with this?!

Reminds me of the Nuremburg rally

that would be a lot banning orders in the post, how dare the fans express themselves!

Having been to a game in Berlin (Hertha vs Schalke 04) last season, the fans there (in Germany) are absolutely bonkers!!

Bouncing up and down like Zebedee on speed - marvellous!!

The Spanish bounce a lot as well. "(supporter) que no bote" ~ "if you don't jump, you're a (supporter)" i.e. "madridista que no bote" ~ "if you don't jump, you're from Real Madrid" as partaken in at the Mestalla in Valencia. The stadium shuddered then, but I think that was just because of me ...

Went to Feyenoord once, and their club song is a version of Daisy, Daisy, but by christ do they go for it.
The whole stadium felt like it was going to fall down.
Feyenoord v Eintracht. That'd be one to look out for.
